What is PID Temperature Control System?
The PID temperature control system monitors the temperature of the heat transfer medium (such as thermal oil or white oil) inside the heating jacket through a temperature probe and automatically controls the heating tube operation to achieve precise and stable temperature regulation.
The set temperature refers to the temperature detected by the temperature probe. When the actual temperature reaches the set value (for example, 35°C), the heating tube will automatically stop heating. When the temperature drops below the set value, the heating tube will restart heating automatically to maintain a stable temperature range.
Since the area around the heating tube is the direct heating zone, its temperature may be slightly higher than other areas due to heat transfer characteristics. This is a normal phenomenon. Under normal conditions, the difference between the medium temperature and the probe temperature reading is approximately ±5°C.
