Description
The ZONESUN ZS-DDP350 Automatic Blister Card Packaging Machine is designed for forming plastic blister cavities and heat-sealing them to paperboard backing for hardware, stationery, electronics accessories, toys, kitchenware and other consumer or industrial products.
The system heats plastic film, forms customized blister cavities using combined positive and negative pressure, cuts the formed blisters, transfers them through a rotary indexing table, and completes product loading, backing-card placement, heat sealing and finished-pack discharge. Its mold-based structure is suited to projects where the package shape must match the product closely.
Working Process

Product loading and backing-card placement can be configured according to the project. The standard process shown for this model includes manual placement at the rotary table, while an automatic material-feeding device is available as an option for suitable products.

Touchscreen Control Panel
The touchscreen interface allows operators to adjust forming temperature, sealing time, rotary-table speed and other production settings while monitoring machine status.
Blister Forming & Cutting
The machine heats the plastic film and uses positive and negative pressure to form the cavity. The formed blister is then cut according to the customized mold and package layout.
Rotary Indexing Table
The indexing table transfers formed blister trays through the loading and sealing stations. Dedicated fixtures and molds keep the blister and backing card aligned during the packaging cycle.
Film Unwinding System
The unwinding mechanism continuously supplies plastic film to the forming section. Film thickness, width and forming behavior must match the selected mold and heating process.
Scrap Film Collection
Waste film generated after forming and cutting is collected to help keep the production area organized during continuous operation.
Heat Sealing Station
Controlled heat and pressure bond the blister to compatible paperboard backing. Final seal quality depends on the plastic film, backing-card coating, adhesive layer, temperature, pressure and dwell time.
Finished Product Outlet
Completed blister packs are discharged for collection or connection to downstream cartoning, labeling or secondary packaging processes.

This machine is best suited to hardware and consumer products that benefit from visible retail blister packaging, such as small tools, fasteners, stationery, electronic accessories, toy parts, kitchen accessories and similar rigid products.
Needs separate evaluation: very heavy products, sharp parts that may puncture the blister, products with large height variation, heat-sensitive contents, highly irregular shapes or products that cannot be loaded reliably into the customized cavity.
Blister Card Packaging vs Clamshell Packaging
Blister card packaging uses a formed plastic cavity sealed to a separate backing card, usually paperboard. Clamshell packaging generally uses a formed plastic package with two connected halves that fold or close together. The ZS-DDP350 is positioned primarily for blister-to-card heat-sealed packaging.
Not a Pharmaceutical Tablet Blister Machine
The ZS-DDP350 is intended for carded blister packaging of hardware and consumer products. It is not positioned as a pharmaceutical tablet/capsule blister packing machine using aluminum foil and medical-dose blister formats.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can the machine make different blister shapes?
Yes. The blister cavity and cutting shape are determined by customized molds. A different product may require a new mold and rotary fixture.
Can the forming depth exceed 38 mm?
The standard specification lists 38 mm, with customization up to approximately 60 mm. The actual feasible depth depends on cavity shape, film properties and forming conditions.
Can products be loaded automatically?
For suitable products, an automatic feeding device can be evaluated. Irregular products or products requiring orientation may need a dedicated feeding solution.
Can it seal directly to ordinary paperboard?
The backing material must be compatible with the selected heat-sealing process. The card coating, blister material and sealing parameters should be tested together.
Is this the same as a clamshell packaging machine?
No. This machine mainly forms a plastic blister and seals it to a separate paperboard backing. Clamshell packages use a different package structure.
Does 10–25 times/min mean 10–25 finished packs per minute?
Not necessarily. It is a reference cutting or machine-cycle frequency. Finished output depends on the number of cavities per cycle, loading method and sealing process.
